Shout out for Persian American children's book

Goodnight Joon is a 2020 paperback parody from Natalie Zangan, writing as "Nasrin Zadeh," of  Margaret Wise Brown's 1947 Goodnight Moon.  You can find it on Amazon and, evidently, also at Target. (I have no affiliation with the author nor the vendors)  Here, the writer  explains in Persian and in English her feelings for the book.

As with the original, the colorful, whimsical illustrations make the words come alive. According to their January 2021 interview in the LA Jewish Journal, sisters-in-law Ari Roven and Sarah Roven are the creative force that produced the illustrations and teamed with the writer to bring this book to market. They have hit on a winning idea, as is apparent by their growing collection of children's bi-cultural parodies, published under RovenLit, as also seen on https://www.facebook.com/RovenLit-105842831778509/
