Axis of Evil comedians

Maz Jobrani at the Irvine Improv .

"Maz recently sold a TV show to CBS based on his life in the U.S. as an Iranian-American. He is also preparing to shoot a film titled "Jimmy Vestvood: Amerikan Hero" - a cross between a Middle Eastern "Pink Panther" and "Bend it Like Beckham."

Weds 8/13/2008 at 8:30 PM; $17.

"There is a Two Item minimum per guest in the showroom. Any combination of Food or Beverages satisfies the minimum as does Dinner." Then, more rules on the web-site, which don't display.

What Maz said about the photo: This was me in May at the airport in Sharm El Sheykh, Egypt traveling with a broken foot. You will note that the wheel chair is rather small. I was told that the ancient Egyptians were a small people and this wheelchair is actually an artifact remaining from the days of the Pharaohs. They only wheel this chair out for special guests, such as yours truly. (Although I did see them wheeling a sleeping infant in one later on. He seemed to fit better than me. Must've been a VVIP.)

Aug. 13th - Irvine Improv - Me doing a 1 hour set with my friends K-von Moezzi and Kirk Fox doing some time at the top.
